The Mercury Program returns with new EP (Listen Up)
After being dormant for seven years, The Mercury Program will be returning to the music scene with new EP, New Myths, on May 20th. In preparation for the release, The Mercury Program has premiered a title track from the EP through Noisey.
Chez Viking was the last album released by The Mercury Program in 2009, after which the band went on a seven-year hiatus.
“[New Myths] is a much more spontaneous and less refined sounding record in my opinion, having been the first time in years that we had all been in the same room made for a very excitable mood. I believe that that energy is apparent on this record,” bassist Sander Travisano told Noisey about the EP.
