Jack White releases “World’s Fastest Released Record” for Record Store Day

As promised, Jack White released the world’s fastest released record via his label Third Man Records. The 7″ titled “Lazaretto” was released 3 hours, 55 minutes, and 21 seconds after it was recorded at Third Man Studios in Nashville. We have the recap video of the event below.

According to reports, White began the performance at 10 a.m., and masters were sent for pressing as soon as the performance ended at the Blue Room in Third Man Studios. His album of the same name, “Lazaretto”, is to be released June 10th, along with the b-side cover of Elvis Presley’s “Power of My Love”.

No word yet from Guinness World Records.
